Guidance notes

The government have published over 90 guidance notes to help your business prepare for a 'No Deal' Brexit on 31st January 2020 www.gov.uk/brexit

You can also sign up to receive email alerts as soon as they publish any new guidance or updates.

Importing and exporting

GOV.UK has some helpful information on exporting or importing goods from the EU.

In the event of a 'No Deal' Brexit, you'll need an EORI number in order to move goods in or out of the EU. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to apply for one online, and it can take up to 3 working days to process.

Data protection

The Information Commissioner's Office has highlighted steps to take to prepare for data protection compliance.

Binding Tariff Information

As a UK business, you should have already received a letter from HMRC outlining how Binding Tariff Information will change if the UK leaves the EU without a deal. You can view that information on GOV.UK.

GOV.UK have published information on how to support your employees through an application for settled status. Find out more.
