New Enterprise Allowance
New Enterprise Allowance is a Government scheme designed to support your move into self-employment with mentoring support and financial assistance in the form of a weekly allowance for a total 26 weeks.
The weekly allowance of £65 is paid for the first 13 weeks of trading followed by a £33 allowance per week for the remaining 13 weeks.
We deliver the eight-week business training scheme in the North West, West Midlands, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent and East London on behalf of the Government to help you develop a business plan and launch your business.
Are You Eligible?
You can access the New Enterprise Allowance if you’re aged 18 and over and you are claiming:
- Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income Support as a lone parent
- Employment and Support Allowance, if you’re in the work-related activity group
How to be referred
If you are interested in joining the New Enterprise Allowance scheme, please contact your Job Centre who will check your eligibility and if agreed suitable they will refer you directly to us. You will then be allocated a personal Business Advisor who will be able to discuss the scheme further with you.
