Making the case for Maidstone
Award-winning Brachers is one of Maidstone's leading law firms.
"Over the last year we have really seen Maidstone’s offer grow. Maidstone Borough Council has been instrumental in turning the town into an attractive place to work for both start-ups and established businesses looking to relocate, helping to increase opportunities and boost business all round."
The firm was founded by Henry Bracher in 1895 as a family business. That family ethos still embodies who Brachers is today and remains at the heart of the firm's operations.
As the firm gears up to celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2020, Joanna Worby, Managing Partner explains why being based in Maidstone has played such an integral part in the businesses success: "We were founded in Maidstone and we've remained here ever since; it's the ideal location for us with transport links across the county, a diverse client base and an increasing pool of highly-skilled people from which to recruit."
Sean Henry, Economic Development Co-ordinator at Maidstone Borough Council, said: "Brachers is part of the fabric of Maidstone's history. The firm has a fantastic reputation and is stalwart member of Maidstone's burgeoning professional services sector."
