The Business Terrace is Maidstone Borough Council’s Growth Accelerator, providing a new generation of flexible workspace to help businesses to start, grow and thrive.
The Business Terrace brings together like-minded individuals who influence, inspire and energise one-another. The format facilitates dynamism, informal collaboration and networking, creating opportunities for fledgling firms to spread their wings and fly!
Since its launch in 2015, The Business Terrace has expanded three times, creating more than 7,000ft² of additional office space. A hotbed of business activity, The Business Terrace has hosted three of Kent’s “Top 30 under 30” entrepreneurs and more than 100 other innovative businesses in a variety of sectors. To date we’ve helped more than 600 people to start and grow their businesses.

Located in the heart of Maidstone, opposite King Street surface level car park next to the Bus Station (with Park & Ride) and The Mall Shopping Centre. The Business Terrace is ideally situated for businesses serving local, regional, national and even international markets.
FREE ADVICE AND SUPPORT
A key part of the scheme is the extensive free support available from business advisors. Support is open to all, from sole traders, to companies establishing multi-million pound investments. The support offer is unlimited and no business is turned away after any length of time or number of hours supported.
With onsite advisers five days a week and affordable workplace packages, The Business Terrace has been stimulating entrepreneurship in Maidstone since it launched in 2015.
